A 52-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder for allegedly stabbing a 30-year-old boy in Logan Town.
Defendant Robert M. Blamo on October 19, 2017, is said to have stabbed Emmanuel Saah three times on his back and escaped the scene.
Defendant Blamo was arrested by officers of the Liberia National Police (LNP) investigated and subsequently forwarded to court for prosecution.
According to the Police charge sheet, victim Emmanuel was stabbed three times on his back and one time on his left arm with an instrument that is believed to be a knife.
Information gathered during Police investigation revealed that defendant Blamo and victim Saah’s family had a long unresolved confusion on the issue of a water and sewer line running through the victim yard since 2016.
Investigation further shows that on Thursday October 19, 2017, between the evening hours, confusion broke out between defendant Blamo’s son and the daughter of witness Debora Cooper on the basis of riding motorbike and making noise in the yard, adding that when the son of defendant Blamo was approached about the attitude, he instead went and took stick and beat on witness Debora and her grandmother while both parents were away.
