Winners Incorporated Hosts Weight Lifting

With less than four months after the Para-Olympic games in England, a group of Liberians under the name Sports and Entertainment hosted a weight-lifting competition in honor of Liberia's Para-Olympic rep Bobby “the Big” Shaffa.
The “Big” who is currently ranked third in Africa and seventh in the World thanked Liberians and the Winners Incorporation for their presence and contribution towards the event.
The event which brought together body building houses in Monrovia was sponsored by Liberia's sports and betting company Winners INC.
The weight-lifting competition was held at the Open Air Sports Commission on Broad Street.
At the opening event, the Marketing Manager of Winners Inc, Mr. Randall Kaybee presented to the organizers a cash donation of LD$75,000.
He stressed that the company is not only identifying with weight lifting sport, but is also giving job opportunities to body-builders, some of which are currently in the employ of the company.
He also has offered job opportunities to six weight-lifting participants that will be interested in working with the company. This is one of numerous contributions the company continues to do in communities in Monrovia and its suburb.
In a related development, Winners Inc has also donated LD$150,000.00 to the Monrovia City Corporation (MCC) as contribution for their tireless efforts to clean Monrovia.
Speaking after the donation, the CEO of Winners Mr. Yacob Batshon, said Winners Incorporation will always be willing to help the MCC carry out its functions.
