Who Is Hon. Prince Kermue Moye, Sr?
Hon. Prince Kermue Moye, Sr, is currently the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Republic of Liberia and a member of the Unity Party (UP).
Hon. Prince Kermue Moye, Sr. is a committed public servant and true patriot, born unto the union of Mr. and Mrs. Sumo Moye on December 27, 1975 in Wainsue, Jorquelleh District #2, Bong County, Republic of Liberia.
He has an unpretentious beginning, growing as an example of kindness and admiration in a village that had limited opportunities and prospects for young people.
But regardless of such situation, and due to his farsightedness and talent of creativity, he overcame major challenges and became a successful public servant with a tangible history of service to country and humanity holistically.
His commitment to national development coupled with youth education and empowerment of people with disability speaks volume of his character and leadership.
In the late 1980s, Hon. Moye started his primary education at the Davis Fajue Elementary School in Gbarnga City, Bong County and later enrolled at the William V. S. Tubman Gray High School in Gbarnga City, where he graduated with a High School Diplomat in 1999.
Following this achievement, He matriculated at the Cuttington University in Suakoko, Bong County in 2001 and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree (BSc) in Public Administration with special honor and recognition in 2005.
Subsequently, Hon. Moye graduated with a Master of Arts Degree in Public Administration from the Cuttington Graduate School of Professional Studies in Monrovia.
Being cognizant of the significance of education, Hon. Moye traveled to South Africa, where he earned a post graduate diplomat in advanced goods, equipment and procurement at the Nelspruit Institute.
Prior to his departure to South Africa, he served as cafeteria manager at Cuttington University and upon his returned to Liberia, he was appointed as Director of Procurement at the Cuttington University.
In 2011, Hon. Prince Kermue Moye Sr, was petitioned by the people of Jorquelleh District, Bong County to contest the Representative seat of that newly created district of Bong County, following the 2011 referendum.
Subsequently, he was overwhelmingly elected as representative and considering the decency and experience he brought to the Legislature, particularly the House of Representatives; he was appointed as Co-Chairman on the Committee of Ways, Means, Finance and Development Planning (WMFDP) of the House of Representatives.
He was also appointed as Chairman of the Special Budget Committee (SBC) of the House of Representatives after his appointment as Chairman of the House’s Committee on WMFDP.
In 2016 and 2017, he was appointed as Chairman of the Unity Party National Convention which brought the outgoing Vice President, Joseph Boakai in as Standard Bearer of the party.
ACHIEVEMENTS AT THE 53RD LEGISLATURE
LAWMAKING, during the first term of Hon. Prince Moye, from 2012-2018, he managed to have enacted the following bills into law, thus meeting his legislative responsibility to lawmaking.
A bill that demarcated Jorquelleh District into two administrative districts
He collaborated with his colleagues to sponsor and co-sponsor 20 bills, including the bill that created Jorquelleh District #2 into administrative district.

OVERSIGHT, as part of his oversight responsibility, he managed to lobby with some international partners to secure budgetary allotments for the following sectors; health, education and road in the national budget.

REPRESENTATION, he represented his district with clarity and distinction, that which prompted his re-election by his citizens.
