Family members of a 19-year-old girl who was discovered dead about two weeks ago, are requesting the Ministry of Justice to conduct a speedy investigation into circumstances surrounding the death of their daughter Lucy Beyan.

The late Lucy Beyan was a former student of the E. Jonathan Goodridge High School in Bardnersville.

The father of the deceased Joseph Beyan told this paper Tuesday that the death of his daughter would go down in history as he will do all he can to ensure that perpetrators of the act be brought to justice.

Although he did not say by what means perpetrators of his daughter's death will be exposed, but said while the investigation is ongoing he wants for his daughter's corpse to be laid to rest.

It can be recalled that during the early morning of November 20, 2012, Lucy's lifeless body was found few yards from her parent's residence in Karduma Community behind the Dry Rice Market in Bardnersville.

The cause of death is not known, but investigation is still being conducted by the Liberia National Police.

The lover of the late Lucy identified as Eric Wreh is said to be in police custody undergoing investigation.
