Morweh Energy Group has presented a consignment of preventive materials to the Crusaders for Peace for onward distribution in leeward counties.
The group, through its President and Chief Executive Officer Christopher Z. Neyor, provided 50 buckets, soaps and chloral.
Mr. Neyor also provided a check for L$100,000 to the group to help facilitate the transportation of the materials to the leeward counties.
He said the outbreak of Ebola virus in Liberia is gradually spreading across the country and stressed the need for collective efforts to help combat the disease.
Neyor said irrespective of status, political affiliation and religion, Liberians must hold together to help eradicate the virus from the country.
He indicated that the outbreak of the Ebola virus threatens the survival of the people of Liberia for which he wants Liberians to forge a common front to battle it.
Mr. Neyor said the donation is his institution’s initial contribution towards the fight against the virus in other counties.
He told the group, “We have come to partner with you; to empower you to help people at the grass root level. Liberia is more than Montserrado County.”
Neyor challenged the Crusaders for Peace to take the Ebola campaign outside Montserrado.
Accepting the items, Crusaders for Peace Administrator Yai Bryant commended Mr. Neyor for the gesture.
