NEWS' Executive Mansion Reporter's Mother Is Dead

The mother of The NEWS' Executive Mansion Reporter, Mrs. Jumah Sangay Fahngon is dead.
According to Jimmey C. Fahngon, son of the deceased, the late “Ma Sangay” as she was affectionately called, died Sunday at his residence on the Old Road.
Fahngon said his mother died at the age of 72 years. Ma Sangay fell sick for several months but later recovered.
However, Ma Sangay's condition worsened last week and did not recover until her death. She has since been buried in keeping with Islamic faith in Bolowan, Bomi County.
The late Ma Sangay leaves to mourn several children, grandchildren, one brother, two sisters and other relatives in Liberia, America and Sweden respectively.
A three-day sacrifice for the late Ma Sangay would be held today in Kpala town, Brewerville, Montserrado County.
Meanwhile, the Management of The NEWS Newspaper has extended its deepest condolences to Mr. Fahngon and the rest of the family for the death of their mother, sister, aunt and grandmother.
The NEWS' family prays that God comforts Mr. Fahngon and others in their time of bereavement and asked that he fills the vacuum that has been created as a result of the death of Ma Sangay.
At the same time, friends of Mr. Fahngon including Presidential Press Secretary Jerolinmek M. Piah, Second Deputy Presidential Press Secretary Christopher Sellee, UNFPA Advocacy and Communication Officer Calixte Hessou and other professional colleagues including Robert P. Clarke of Sky FM, Jacob Pailey of Liberia Broadcasting System, Lenart Dodo of Insight Newspaper, Julius Jeh of Renaissance Communication (RCI), Alaska Moore Johnson of Daily Observer, J. Korvah Beyan of RCI, among others, have expressed condolence to him and prayed for God's guidance.
