cellcomliberiaCellcom, the Liberian telecommunications company widely credited for implementing a series of programs and promotions has announced its latest round of promotions.

The new promotions are geared toward boosting the spirits of its customers in Liberia during the 26 season and giving people a sense of hope and jubilation.

Corporate Communications Strategist, Dr. Kimmie Weeks says Cellcom has already rolled out its “July 26 celebration package” which will impact the lives of its subscribers.

He said the package include “the 26 extravaganza, the wahala campaign and the 3 plus 3 bonus program.”

Dr. Week said as part of the promotion, the company would award 26 lucky winners L$100,000 each to celebrate the independence in style.

“This is a very simple campaign; “all that our subscribers need to do is to activate any of our packages and they are automatically entered into the program,” Weeks said.

Commenting on the Wahala campaign, Weeks explained that the program is specifically intended to help subscribers communicate with friends and family abroad.   Through the program, Cellcom customers are able to make unlimited calls to 13 countries including the United States, Canada, UK, France, Bangladesh and China for as low as $1 per day.

Weeks added that the company had decided to add a special 26 bonus to its widely popular three days free calls program.

“Our customers across the nation have really enjoyed this program.   It is one of our longest running promotions because we know the impact it is having on people’s lives.    It is a demonstration of how we use ingenuity and innovation to work in the interest of the Liberian people,” he said.

He disclosed that as part of its 26 celebration package the company had decided to give an additional three days of bonus calls and text to subscribers at the same flat rate.    “We are proud that we continue to be a company that leads by innovation while others simply try to follow,” said Weeks.
