The Todee Rubber Farmers and Multipurpose Cooperative Society (TRFMCS) Limited has inducted its corps of officers to steer the affairs of the organization for the next three years.
Those inducted include S. Josen Fahn Chairman, Board of Directors, Wesley F. Barker, Co-Chairman, and Timothy K. Wilson, Recording Secretary. Others are Diggs T. Barkollie, Treasure, John B. Kokulo, Charplain and Harry Gono board member.
Speaking at the program, the Chairman of TRFMCS' Board of Directors, S. Josen Fahn promised to undertake initiative that would improve the lives of farmers in the area.
He said the general welfare of members would be paramount under his administration. Mr. Fahn said his leadership will ensure that farmers work within a conducive environment, noting “when farmers are protected, they will contribute more to the development of the society.”
He explained that the vision for the establishment of the TRFMCS started in Kakata, Margibi County and launched in 2011.
For his part, the Deputy Registrar of Cooperative Development Agency (CDA) Erik B. Vincent called on the Board of TRFMCS to transform the lives of farmers and their communities. He also called on board members to work collectively to improve the organization.
