The Bishop of the Potter House Christian Church (PHCC) has been sent to jail for an alleged Theft of Property.

Bishop Rebecca Taylor is also a member of the New Destiny Fellowship of Churches International (NDFCI) located on Newport Street in Monrovia.

The two complainants, Precious Cooper and Rena Deah complained to the police that they received separate international calls from one Rev. Adolphus Summerville claiming that he was living in the United States of America.

Complainants Cooper and Deah told police that Rev. Summerville added them on his friends' list on face book.

The ladies narrated to the police that upon accepting Rev. Summerville's friendship, he told them he wanted to assist them to travel to America on a church program.

Cooper and Deah told criminal investigators during separate conservations with Rev. Summerville, that he instructed them to contact Bishop Taylor on cell #0886820754, who he claimed, was an agent of the church in America carrying out the program.

According to the complainants, when they visited Bishop Taylor's PHP residence, she confirmed the program and allegedly provided two forms at the rate of US$50.00 each.

They alleged that Bishop Taylor later asked them to transfer US$400.00 each to Rev. Summerville in the USA as well asUS$160.00 for visa fee.

However, during investigation conducted with defendant Taylor, she admitted that since she became member of the New Destiny Fellowship of Churches International in 2008, members have attended conferences in America. The defendant was charged with US$1,520 Theft of Property.
