…. For Gross Disrespect
The Liberia National Police have suspended with immediate effect its Public Safety Chief Meekie S. Gray for time indefinite. He was suspended for what the LNP called “gross insubordination” to his superior.

Mr. Gray's suspension followed series of uproar between he and Deputy Police Director for Operations, Abraham Kromah.

According to credible report, Mr. Gray is said to have been operating his office without regards to the chain of command, something which resulted into war of words between Col. Kormah and Gray.

The two senior police officers nearly engaged into fist fight two weeks ago as Gray insisted that he is not answerable to Deputy Director Kromah who is his immediate supervision as far as the chain of command is concerned.

The letter of suspension ordered Mr. Gray to turn over all government properties including uniform, ID Card, boots and weapon assigned to him.
