...Leymah Gbowee Declares
Nobel Laureate Leymah R. Gbowee has declared that she will not contest the 2014 senatorial election in Bong County.

Madam Gbowee's clarification comes in the wake of rumors that she was contemplating contesting the 2014 senatorial race in Bong County to unseat Senator Jewel Howard-Taylor.

Early this year, the Nobel Laureate reportedly questioned the citizenship of Madam Taylor claiming that the Senator is not from Bong County, but rather from Lofa County.

Since the statement was made, there have been rumors that the Nobel Laureate was planning to unseat Senator Taylor evidenced by her inquiry about the citizenship of the senator.

However, speaking Tuesday on the popular radio talk show, “The Truth Breakfast Show”, Madam Gbowee said “I sitting here, Leymah Rosetta Gbowee do not want to be senator of Bong County; I do not have my brain in my backside; if I wanted to be senator of Bong County, my foundation will be setup in Bong County and I'll be paying school fees for those who will vote for me; I do not have any interest in contesting the senatorial seat of Bong County.”

The Nobel Laureate then wished Senator Taylor and hoped that other women would join her.

“I wish we could replicate her to get more women in parliament and that's my honest take, so all of this news that I want to be senator is not truth.”

Commenting on her political future, she said “I do have a political future, but the future will determine; but 2014 nobody will see my name on any ballot paper.”

What does Ms. Gbowee mean that she doesnt have her brain in her backside. It sounds offensive. Is she saying she doesnt have her brain in her butt? Rudeness.
