Police in Gbarnga, Bong County have launched a massive search for an alleged murderer only identified as Alieu.
Suspect Alieu is alleged to have murdered his friend Emmanuel Say, 25.
Our correspondent said the incident occurred in the Lelekpayeh Community in Gbarnga within the vicinity of the Ma-Nowah Face Book entertainment center.
Eyewitnesses told our correspondent that on the night of November 29, 2017, they saw the late Emmanuel Say and suspect Alieu arguing from outside of the Club, but they didn’t know what they were arguing about.
The eyewitnesses said following intense argument, they heard Emmanuel crying as he entered the Club, alleging that Alieu had stabbed him with a knife on his neck.
They said the suspect immediately left the scene for an unknown destination before the police arrived. The victim later died before the ambulance arrived on the scene.
The Commander of Crime Service Division of the Liberian National Police Bong County Detachment, Inspector John Kellenso Flomo, said when they got the information, they immediately dispatched a team of investigators to the scene.
spector Flomo said from their investigation with eyewitnesses, it was established that suspect Alieu attacked Emmanuel Saye.
He further said 15 men curious-jury was setup to conduct physical examination on the victim and reported that the victim had deep cut in his throat which caused his death.
The Inspector said police officers are currently searching for suspect Alieu who is still at large.
