One of Liberia’s Presidential Candidates in the pending October elections has promised to unite Liberia under his leadership.
Dr. H. Boima Fahnbulleh, Liberia People’s Party Candidate, said under a UPP- led government, unity and honesty will be a top priority in Liberia.
Speaking to a cross- section of citizens in Sanniquelle, Nimba County on Monday, Dr. Fahnbulleh said to ensure peace and unity in the country, education will be one top priority, emphasizing that quality infrastructural development remains a significant factor in achieving a sustainable economic development.
Dr. Fahnbulleh said there will be emphasis on reducing child mortality and paying attention to maternal mortality, thereby constructing houses for Doctors and nurses.
The LPP presidential candidate further said he will pay senior doctors and nurses with over 20 years’ experience, a minimum of US$10,000.00 per month.
According to him, under his leadership, Agriculture will be thought in all high schools.
Dr. Fahnbulleh also stressed that security personnel will be provided low cost houses in Barracks across the country.
Dr. Fahnbulleh said under his administration when elected as President of Liberia road under construction will be completed and additional road network will be constructed and slums within Monrovia and its environ will be clear and the city will be expended as well as the connection of all counties by buses and water way transport.
