Montserrado County District #2 Representative candidate Fr. Nimely Jarbokly Donyen has dedicated a market building and bridge for residents of the district. The projects were dedicated over the weekend.
Speaking at the dedicatory ceremonies, Fr. Donyen, who is contesting on the ticket of Liberia Transformation Party (LTP), told supporters and residents that his development projects are intended to alleviate difficulties residents faced in the district.
Donyen told the residents that his participation in the 2017 electoral process is due to the level of backwardness they faced owing to the lack of major development projects.
He said residents of the district have suffered prolong deception and neglect from past and present leaders, noting that he has come to redeem them.
The representative candidate promised that when elected, he will endeavor to provide loans to the business community, as well as students especially during vacation period.
He also promised free education program for students in the district and beyond, adding education is the passion of life that must be attained.
In separate remarks, residents of the district lauded Donyen for his effort and referred to him as their ‘political messiah,’ who does what he says.
The market is located in Nicklay Town while the bridge is situated within the Pepper Wulu Town community located at lower Johnsonville.
During the program, the leadership of Nicklay Town community certificated Donyen for his development initiatives.
