…For Rental Arrears

The All Liberian Party River Cess Chapter has been taken to the Cestos City Magisterial Court for failure to pay rental fees for the period of six months for the building it used as its county office.
During the course of the week, the owner of the building, Kenneth Bob Jackson, took the ALP to the Cestos City Court for the party’s failure to pay him Seven Hundred Fifty United States Dollars (UDS$750) for the period of six months, and also for damaging some parts of the building.
Appearing in court on Saturday, January 6, 2018, the ALP Vice Chair for Administration in River Cess, Daniel Wrueh admitted the party owes Mr. Jackson an amount of US$750 for six months. Mr. Wrueh then appealed for an extension of the case pending the appearance of the party’s county Chairman Janjay Zoedehgar in court.
However, latest report gathered by this paper says the local leadership of the party is now planning to sell materials belonging to the party in order to settle the money owed Mr. Kenneth Jackson as the National Office is yet to make an intervention.
The materials expected to be sold to settle debts include desktop computers, and printers, among others.
The party has however, been requested to turn over the building immediately to its owner in order to avoid increasing the debt.
